Farewell to Fan Favorites: CBS Cuts Six Shows Before the 2025-2026 Season

Farewell to Fan Favorites: CBS Cuts Six Shows Before the 2025-2026 Season

The TV world changes fast. CBS chose to cancel six shows for the 2025–2026 season. Some shows wrapped up naturally. Others ended suddenly. Fans now recall their best moments.

1. Blue Bloods

Blue Bloods ran for 14 seasons. This cop drama, loved by many, has ended. The series tracked the Reagan family in the New York City Police. CBS confirmed the show will not return. Yet, a spin-off called Boston Blue emerges. Donnie Wahlberg appears again as Danny Reagan.

2. FBI: Most Wanted

FBI: Most Wanted finished its sixth season. The crime drama, themed around the FBI, earned strong ratings. Its cancellation surprised many fans. There is hope for a spin-off named CIA. This show will unite agents from both sides in a new case.

3. FBI: International

FBI: International ended after its fourth season. The spin-off focused on the FBI’s global work. Loyal viewers kept watching, yet the show did not continue. Fans are curious about how the new CIA series will link to the FBI tales.

4. S.W.A.T.

S.W.A.T. faced cancellation twice in one year. Since its 2017 debut, the police drama has drawn attention. Now, CBS canceled it once more. Actor Shemar Moore spoke on social media. He called on fans to help save the show by finding a new network.

5. Poppa’s House

Poppa’s House is a comedy from Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. It did not earn a second season. Production delays and the 2023 strikes hindered its start. The show could not outshine other comedy pilots. CBS chose to renew DMV instead of this sitcom.

6. The Summit

The Summit is a reality competition hosted by Manu Bennett. Contestants met extreme physical challenges. Although its twists engaged viewers, the show did not build a large audience. It ended after just one season.

Looking Forward

CBS fans now say goodbye to these favorite shows. Some popular series will return with new seasons. Yet, the loss of these six shows reminds us how tough the TV world can be. Only a few hits survive amid many choices. Fans now cherish the characters and plots that defined their viewing.
